Who Was Harald Sigurdsson
Harald was the King of Norway. He lived from 1015 to 1066. He was also named Harald Hardrada. Hardrada means “harsh ruler.” He died at the Battle of Stamford Bridge. It was a battle between Harold Godwinson and Harald Hardrada for becoming the King of England. Harald married two people during his lifetime. They were Elisiv of Kiev, and Tora Torbergsdatter.
